According to Brisbane interior designer, Gary Hamer, balconies should be considered within an overall interior scheme, not just as an add-on. This balcony is designed as an extension of the indoor space. Accademia outdoor sofa and armchairs are combined with B&B Italia Phat tables and Serralunga outdoor planters. While the contemporary architecture of this home makes a real statement, it is the colours selected that finish the look off to perfection. The top half was painted in a matt black finish, while the lower sections combine neutral creams and taupes. The colours, lighting and landscapes were designed by Brisbane's Gary Hamer Interior Design.
